Would it be possible for the Library Help Desk answering machine to mention the hours the desk is open? It would be nice to know when the librarian isn't going to call back right away because the desk is closed.

Thank you for your suggestion of including the library hours on the Help Desk phone recording. As the hours are not always the same throughout the term, we've hesitated to record the hours in case the information changes. However, we are happy to refer people to the Hours link from our library website, in addition to the part of the message that already indicates other ways of getting help from a librarian through the AskUs link on the library website. We'll implement these changes this week.
